A bit of sunny yellow

I hope you are having a great weekend! This yellow crossbody bag is one of my recent purchases. With my student budget, I usually stick with the classic and versatile bag styles and colors. However, this yellow one really caught my eyes because of its vibrant color and cute design when I was wandering some clothing stores in town. And of course at a good price after applying some coupons, I decided to take it home with me. Did you find any good items during the memorial sale?

Happy Mother's day!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! and Happy Mother's day to all of the Moms!

The weather's been really cool lately in OK, which makes it perfect to pull my blazer out of my messy closet again. To be honest I am not a big fan of blazer because I haven't found any blazer that can flatter my shoulder well. I bought this particular blazer a while ago because I love the vibrant color and it was on sale at Lucca. So I am quite happy with the purchase. I paired it with my favorite black lace dress to brighten up my unusual working Sunday.

Wednesday dine out

Hello everyone! I hope you are having an awesome day.  I had a great day and a wonderful dinner with my friend in one of the best restaurants in town. I just want to share with you some pictures of the food we had. For appetizer, we ordered ragout of the Escargot with shiitake mushroom. To be honest, I am not a fan of Escargot but I must admit the dish was so delicious.

 

Lime and Orange sorbet was served to clean our palate before enjoying the entrees. Very refreshing!

 

I ordered herbs crusted salmon filet with champagne cream sauce served with potato cake and vegetables. It was literally the best salmon I've ever had. Buttery, flakey, moist-perfection

 

My friend ordered seared Filet Mignon flambee with cognac and green pepper sauce. I had a bite of it and it was perfect: very tender and juicy. The meal was just amazing and the service was impeccable. If you live in Oklahoma area, you should check out Whispering Pines restaurant.

Hello everyone! I hope you have a fun day!

Summer heat arrives early in Oklahoma. To me, shorts and T-shirts create perfect summer outfit combinations- young, fun and comfortable. Last couple weeks, I went to a nearby outlet and found two great deals: a Theory short marked down to $20 from its orginal price of $180 and a $5 Banana republic shirt. I decided to pair them together with an Old Navy plaid shirt for a easy casual outfit.

I love the graphic. Is it cute? I am also thinking of buying a new cruiser bike for summer.

Stripes and dots

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great day so far! I  was so excited to see this little polka dot skirt in store last month and had to get it. I must say I never get tired of these cute dots.
