Navy/gray/black

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful day so far.

 Even though I have so much fun with color blocking and wearing brights this summer, I've recently drawn toward classic and subdued colors. When I saw this short sleeve sweater on the sale rack in a local store, I immediately fell in love with it and brought it home with me. I adore the tuxedo-inspired print and the navy/gray/black color palette. I decided to wear it with gray plaid pants to work today.

Petite Fashion Challenge 18: What to Wear to Impress your Date

When I go out on a date, I try to be comfortable and relaxed. My first outfit is a fun and comfy combination of  black shorts and a dressy sequin top.

Striped B/W

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day so far! Recently, when I went shopping, I was drawn to something striped or plaid. I adore the black and white stripe pattern of this Forever 21 top. Today, I paired it with my color block black/white skirt. The combination of stripe and colorblock pieces might make the whole outfit a bit busy for a meeting at work but I hope the black/white colors make it look more refined.

Plum season

Hello everyone! Hope you will have a great week ahead!  I bought the plum top almost six years ago at Dillards but turned out I didn't wear it much because there are so many things going on: bow, lace, cut out back... Anyway, I gave it another try yesterday by pairing it with my favorite pleated skirt.

P.S: By the way,  I am suffering from a very bad cold sore now. It really drives me nuts. I have been trying Camphor and Abreva and none of them worked and I couldn't make an appointment with any dermatologist until early next week. Any suggestions or advice are highly appreciated. Thank you!

Saturday at work

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I've been posting less frequently in the last couple of weeks because I've been quite busy lately. I haven't had a chance to travel somewhere this summer but I think I will save it for the winter break. I have a dream to visit 30 countries before I turn 30. As the time window is getting narrower and narrower, I'm planning to travel to Europe this winter. What would be sweeter to celebrate the Christmas with my relatives in Italy and the New Year in Paris? Planning and planning, dreaming and dreaming,...

Back to the reality, I am still going to work today. I really love what I'm doing. My boss is a smart, passionate and hard working person, who I always look up and learn a lot from him. And for a Saturday at work, I decided to "overdress" myself a bit.

I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. I always say to myself  no more shopping since I have way more than I need. But I find it very difficult and almost impossible to say no to sale/clearance items. I guess I need to control myself better, otherwise, it won't be good.

A lovely Saturday

Happy Saturday! I have been quite busy lately. But today, I feel really peaceful and worry-free and wish that feeling will last long.
